Lately I've been thinking about building my own game server that I could host 24/7 and have people join a game on it whenever. But I'm not exactly sure of the hardware or software needed to do that although I know a fast internet connection is a must. So please tell me what hardware needs to be faster than others. I was thinking of hosting about 2 or 3 games at once depending on whether my internet connection can handle it however, I haven't decided on the games I'm going to host yet although I have come up with some ideas:

Also my internet upload speed to anywhere in the U.S is about 2.5 to 2.75 MB/s and my download speed is around 20 Mb/s (I have Comcast). So tell me how many players I could have in each game as well.
